We recently published a Sonia Sotomayor Reader, a Sonia Sotomayor Bio FunBook, a Supreme Court of the United States poster, and a U.S. Supreme Court American Milestone book.
This was an example of one of the "instant opportunity" kinds of studios that we will have from time to time.
On the weeeeee hours of Friday night, and Saturday morning (4 am!) Carole sent emails regarding the above products. Of course, I didn't see the emails until about 11:30 pm Sunday evening. SO, I immediately began emailing some of you to see whether or not you were interested and/or available to participate—beginning Monday morning at 10:00 am!
THANK YOU to those of you who were available to help us out on such short notice! (To those of you who weren't available this time...well, there's always the next time, right?!)
Within a couple of days, all the products were written, and within a couple more days edited, corrected, pasted-up, proofed, corrected, and sent to production.
THIS STUDIO WAS A HUGE SUCCESS! We were literally selling and creating the products simultaneously, and had them ready to ship the Monday AFTER Sonia Sotomayor was confirmed on Saturday, August 8!
